Parents.

1. ஆணோ, பெண்ணோ, எந்த குழந்தையாய் இருந்தாலும், "Good touch", "bad touch" எது என்பதை பெற்றோர்கள் சொல்லிக் கொடுங்கள். 2. மேலாடையின்றியோ,ஆடையே இன்றியோ குழந்தைகள் உங்களுக்கு குழந்தையாய் தெரியலாம், எல்லோருக்கும் அப்படியே தெரியும் என்று எண்ணிவிடாதீர்கள். 3. குழந்தைகளை தனியே கடைக்கு அனுப்பும் போது கவனம் தேவை, நெடு நேரம் குழந்தை நிற்க வைக்கப்பட்டாலோ, பொருட்கள் மிகுதியாகவோ, இலவசமாகவோ வழங்கப்பட்டாலோ கவனம் தேவை. 4. பள்ளிக்கு ஏதோ ஒரு வாகனத்தில் தனியாகவோ, பிற குழந்தைகளுடனோ அனுப்பினால், அந்த வாகன ஓட்டுனரின் முழு விவரமும் தெரிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், அவர் வீட்டு முகவரி உட்பட. 5. வாகன ஓட்டுனரின் நடத்தையிலும், பழக்க வழக்கத்திலும் ஐயமின்றி தெளிவுறுங்கள்! 6. பெரும்பாலான வாகன ஓட்டுனர்கள், மூட்டைகளை போல் குழந்தைகளை அடைத்து, மரியாதையின்றி பேசுவதும், தொடக் கூடாத இடங்களை தொடுவதும், சில இடங்களில் நடக்கிறது. 7. யார் அழைத்தால் போக வேண்டும், யார் கொடுத்தால் வாங்க வேண்டும் என்று குழந்தைகளுக்கு தெளிவுப்படுத்துங்கள் 8. குழந்தைகள், வீட்டின் முகவரி, பெற்றோரின் தொலைப்பேசி எண்கள் அறிந்திருத்தல் நலம். 9. வீட்டில் ஒன்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட குழந்தைகள் இருந்தால், ஒருபோதும் ஒருவருடன் மற்றவரை ஒப்பிட்டு பேசாதீர்கள், வயது வித்தியாசம் எப்படி இருந்தாலும்! 10. ஒரு கட்டத்திற்கு மேல், உங்கள் விருப்பங்களை குழந்தையின் மேல் திணிக்காதீர்கள். 11. வீட்டில் குழந்தைகள் இருக்கும் போது, வன்முறை, காதல், கொலை, களவுப் போன்றவை நிறைந்த திரைக்காட்சிக்களையோ, நிகழ்ச்சிகளையோ பார்க்காதீர்கள்! 12. பெரியவர்கள், பெண்கள் எப்போதும் சீரியல்களில் மூழ்கி இருக்காமல், குழந்தைகளுக்கு பிடித்தாற்போலோ, அல்லது அவர்களுக்கு பொதுஅறிவு பெருகும் வகையிலான நிகழ்ச்சிகளை பார்ப்பது நலம். 13. குழந்தைகளிடம் தினம் நேரம் செலவிடுங்கள், ஒரு தோழமையுடன் அவர்கள் சொல்வதை காது கொடுத்து கேளுங்கள். 14. தவறுகளை தன்மையுடன் திருத்துங்கள், தண்டிக்க நினைக்காதீர்கள்! 15. ஒருமுறை நீர் ஊற்றியவுடன், விதை மரமாகிவிடாது, நீங்கள் ஒருமுறை சொன்னவுடன் குழந்தைகள் உங்கள் விருப்பபடி மாறிவிட மாட்டார்கள். உங்களுக்கு பொறுமை அவசியம். 16. பள்ளி விட்டு வரும் குழந்தைகளை அன்புடன் அரவணைத்து, வேண்டியது செய்ய அம்மாவோ, பெரியவர்களோ வீட்டில் இருத்தல் வேண்டும்! 17. குழந்தைகளின் எதிரில் புறம் பேசாதீர்கள். பின்னாளில் அவர்கள் உங்களை பற்றி பேசலாம். 18. உங்கள் பெற்றோரை நடத்தும் விதம், உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளால் கவனிக்க படுகிறது. நாளை உங்களுக்கு அதுவே நடக்கலாம்! 19. படிப்பு என்பது அடிப்படை, அதையும் தாண்டி குழந்தைகளுக்கு உள்ள மற்ற ஆர்வத்தையும் ஊக்குவியுங்கள். 20. ஓடி ஆடி விளையாடுவது குழந்தைகளின் ஆரோக்யத்திற்கு அவசியம். விளையாட்டிற்கு தடை போடாதீர்கள். 5. வாகன ஓட்டுனரின் நடத்தையிலும், பழக்க வழக்கத்திலும் ஐயமின்றி தெளிவுறுங்கள்!

6. பெரும்பாலான வாகன ஓட்டுனர்கள், மூட்டைகளை போல் குழந்தைகளை அடைத்து, மரியாதையின்றி பேசுவதும், தொடக் கூடாத இடங்களை தொடுவதும், சில இடங்களில் நடக்கிறது.

7. யார் அழைத்தால் போக வேண்டும், யார் கொடுத்தால் வாங்க வேண்டும் என்று குழந்தைகளுக்கு தெளிவுப்படுத்துங்கள்

8. குழந்தைகள், வீட்டின் முகவரி, பெற்றோரின் தொலைப்பேசி எண்கள் அறிந்திருத்தல் நலம்.

9. வீட்டில் ஒன்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட குழந்தைகள் இருந்தால், ஒருபோதும் ஒருவருடன் மற்றவரை ஒப்பிட்டு பேசாதீர்கள், வயது வித்தியாசம் எப்படி இருந்தாலும்!

10. ஒரு கட்டத்திற்கு மேல், உங்கள் விருப்பங்களை குழந்தையின் மேல் திணிக்காதீர்கள்.

11. வீட்டில் குழந்தைகள் இருக்கும் போது, வன்முறை, காதல், கொலை, களவுப் போன்றவை நிறைந்த திரைக்காட்சிக்களையோ, நிகழ்ச்சிகளையோ பார்க்காதீர்கள்!

12. பெரியவர்கள், பெண்கள் எப்போதும் சீரியல்களில் மூழ்கி இருக்காமல், குழந்தைகளுக்கு பிடித்தாற்போலோ, அல்லது அவர்களுக்கு பொதுஅறிவு பெருகும் வகையிலான நிகழ்ச்சிகளை பார்ப்பது நலம்.

13. குழந்தைகளிடம் தினம் நேரம் செலவிடுங்கள், ஒரு தோழமையுடன் அவர்கள் சொல்வதை காது கொடுத்து கேளுங்கள்.

14. தவறுகளை தன்மையுடன் திருத்துங்கள், தண்டிக்க நினைக்காதீர்கள்!

15. ஒருமுறை நீர் ஊற்றியவுடன், விதை மரமாகிவிடாது, நீங்கள் ஒருமுறை சொன்னவுடன் குழந்தைகள் உங்கள் விருப்பபடி மாறிவிட மாட்டார்கள். உங்களுக்கு பொறுமை அவசியம்.

19. படிப்பு என்பது அடிப்படை, அதையும் தாண்டி குழந்தைகளுக்கு உள்ள மற்ற ஆர்வத்தையும் ஊக்குவியுங்கள்.

20. ஓடி ஆடி விளையாடுவது குழந்தைகளின் ஆரோக்யத்திற்கு அவசியம். விளையாட்டிற்கு தடை போடாதீர்கள். "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"

21. குழந்தைகள் கேள்வி கேட்கட்டும், அவர்களின் வயதுக்கேற்ப புரியும்படி பதில் சொல்லுங்கள்! பொது அறிவு கேள்விகள் கேட்கப்படும் போது தெரிந்தால் சொல்லுங்கள், தெரியாவிட்டால் பிறகு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று சொல்லுங்கள். சொன்னபடி கேள்விக்கான பதிலை அறிந்து கொண்டு, மறக்காமல் அவர்களிடம் சொல்வது அவசியம்.

22. ஒருபோதும் "ச்சீ வாயை மூடு" "தொணதொண என்று கேள்வி கேட்காதே" என்று அவர்களிடம் எரிச்சல் காட்டி, அவர்களின் ஆர்வத்தை குழி தோண்டி புதைத்து விடாதீர்கள்!

23. பசி என்று குழந்தை சொன்னால், உடனே உணவு கொடுங்கள், அரட்டையிலோ, சோம்பலிலோ, வேறு வேலையிலோ குழந்தையின் குரலை அலட்சியப்படுத்தாதீர்கள்!

24. ஒரு போதும், உங்கள் குழந்தைகளின் எதிரே சண்டை இடாதீர்கள்!

25. ஒவ்வொரு குழந்தையும் ஒரு வரம், அவர்கள், ஒருபோதும் உங்கள் கோபதாபங்களின் வடிகால்கள் அல்ல!

இந்து என்பது மதமா ? நான் ஏன் இந்து ?

A Hindu was flying from JFK New York Airport to SFO San Francisco Airport CA to attend a meeting at Monterey, CA. An American girl was sitting on the right side, near window seat. It indeed was a long journey - it would take nearly seven hours. He was surprised to see the young girl reading a Bible unusual of young Americans. After some time she smiled and we had few acquaintances talk.He told her that I am from India Then suddenly the girl asked: 'What's your faith?' 'What?' He didn't understand the question. 'I mean, what's your religion? Are you a Christian? Or a Muslim?' 'No!' He replied, 'He am neither Christian nor Muslim'. Apparently she appeared shocked to listen to that. 'Then who are you?' “I am a Hindu”, He said. She looked at him as if she was seeing a caged animal. She could not understand what He was talking about. A common man in Europe or US knows about Christianity and Islam, as they are the leading religions of the world today. But a Hindu, what? He explained to her - I am born to a Hindu father and Hindu mother. Therefore, I am a Hindu by birth. 'Who is your prophet?' she asked. 'We don't have a prophet,' He replied. 'What's your Holy Book?' 'We don't have a single Holy Book, but we have hundreds and thousands of philosophical and sacred scriptures,' He replied. 'Oh, come on at least tell me who is your God?' 'What do you mean by that?' 'Like we have Jesus and Muslims have Allah - don't you have a God?' He thought for a moment. Muslims and Christians believe one God (Male God) who created the world and takes an interest in the humans who inhabit it. Her mind is conditioned with that kind of belief. According to her (or anybody who doesn't know about Hinduism), a religion needs to have one Prophet, one Holy book and one God. The mind is so conditioned and rigidly narrowed down to such a notion that anything else is not acceptable. He understood her perception and concept about faith. You can't compare Hinduism with any of the present leading religions where you have to believe in one concept of God. He tried to explain to her: 'You can believe in one God and he can be a Hindu. You may believe in multiple deities and still you can be a Hindu. What's more - you may not believe in God at all, still you can be a Hindu. An Atheist can also be a Hindu.' This sounded very crazy to her. She couldn't imagine a religion so unorganized, still surviving for thousands of years, even after onslaught from foreign forces. 'I don't understand but it seems very interesting. Are you religious?' What can He tell to this American girl? He said: 'I do not go to Temple regularly. I do not make any regular rituals. I have learned some of the rituals in my younger days. I still enjoy doing it sometimes'. 'Enjoy? Are you not afraid of God?' 'God is a friend. No- I am not afraid of God. Nobody has made any compulsions on me to perform these rituals regularly.' She thought for a while and then asked: 'Have you ever thought of converting to any other religion?' 'Why should I? Even if I challenge some of the rituals and faith in Hinduism, nobody can convert me from Hinduism. Because, being a Hindu allows me to think independently and objectively, without conditioning. I remain as a Hindu never by force, but choice.' He told her that Hinduism is not a religion, but a set of beliefs and practices. It is not a religion like Christianity or Islam because it is not founded by any one person or does not have an organized controlling body like the Church or the Order, I added. There is no institution or authority.. 'So, you don't believe in God?' she wanted everything in black and white. 'I didn't say that. I do not discard the divine reality. Our scripture, or Sruthis or Smrithis - Vedas and Upanishads or the Gita - say God might be there or he might not be there. But we pray to that supreme abstract authority (Para Brahma) that is the creator of this universe.' 'Why can't you believe in one personal God?' 'We have a concept - abstract - not a personal god. The concept or notion of a personal God, hiding behind the clouds of secrecy, telling us irrational stories through few men whom he sends as messengers, demanding us to worship him or punish us, does not make sense. I don't think that God is as silly as an autocratic emperor who wants others to respect him or fear him.' He told her that such notions are just fancies of less educated human imagination and fallacies, adding that generally ethnic religious practitioners in Hinduism believe in personal Gods. The entry level Hinduism has over-whelming superstitions too. The philosophical side of Hinduism negates all superstitions. 'Good that you agree God might exist. You told that you pray. What is your prayer then?' 'Loka Samastha Sukino Bhavantu. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti,' लोका समस्ता सुखिनो भवन्तु !!! ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः !!! 'Funny,' she laughed, 'What does it mean?' 'May all the beings in all the worlds be happy. Let there be Peace, Peace,and Peace every where.' 'Hmm ..very interesting. I want to learn more about this religion. It is so democratic, broad-minded and free' she exclaimed. 'The fact is Hinduism is a religion of the individual, for the individual and by the individual with its roots in the Vedas and the Bhagavad-Gita. It is all about an individual approaching a personal God in an individual way according to his temperament and inner evolution - it is as simple as that.' 'How does anybody convert to Hinduism?' 'Nobody can convert you to Hinduism, because it is not a religion, but it is a Culture, a way of leaving life, a set of beliefs and practices. Everything is acceptable in Hinduism because there is no single Authority or Organization either to accept you or to reject you or to oppose you on behalf of Hinduism.' He told her - if you look for meaning in life, don't look for it in religions; don't go from one cult to another or from one Guru to the next. For a real seeker, He told her, the Bible itself gives guidelines when it says ' Kingdom of God is within you.' I reminded her of Christ's teaching about the love that we have for each other. That is where you can find the meaning of life. Loving each and every creation of the God is absolute and real. 'Isavasyam idam sarvam' Isam (the God) is present (inhabits) here everywhere - nothing exists separate from the God, because God is present everywhere. Respect every living being and non-living things as God. That's what Hinduism teaches you. Hinduism is referred to as Sanathana Dharma, the eternal faith. It is based on the practice of Dharma, the code of life. The most important aspect of Hinduism is being truthful to oneself. Hinduism has no monopoly on ideas. It is open to all. Hindus believe in one God (not a personal one) expressed in different forms. For them, God is timeless and formless entity. Ancestors of today's Hindus believe in eternal truths and cosmic laws and these truths are opened to anyone who seeks them. But there is a section of Hindus who are either superstitious or turned fanatic to make this an organized religion like others. The British coin the word 'Hindu' and considered it as a religion. He said: 'Religions have become an MLM (multi-level- marketing) industry that has been trying to expand the market share by conversion. The biggest business in today's world is Spirituality. Hinduism is no exception' He said "I am a Hindu primarily because it professes Non-violence - 'Ahimsa Paramo Dharma' means - Non violence is the highest duty. I am a Hindu because it doesn't condition my mind with any faith system. A man/woman who changes his/her birth religion to another religion is a fake and does not value his/her morals, culture and values in life. Hinduism is the original rather a natural yet a logical and satisfying spiritual, personal and a scientific way of leaving a life..

'Nobody can convert you to Hinduism, because it is not a religion, but it is a Culture, a way of leaving life, a set of beliefs and practices. Everything is acceptable in Hinduism because there is no single Authority or Organization either to accept you or to reject you or to oppose you on behalf of Hinduism.'

He told her - if you look for meaning in life, don't look for it in religions; don't go from one cult to another or from one Guru to the next.

For a real seeker, He told her, the Bible itself gives guidelines when it says ' Kingdom of God is within you.' I reminded her of Christ's teaching about the love that we have for each other. That is where you can find the meaning of life.

Loving each and every creation of the God is absolute and real. 'Isavasyam idam sarvam' Isam (the God) is present (inhabits) here everywhere - nothing exists separate from the God, because God is present everywhere. Respect every living being and non-living things as God. That's what Hinduism teaches you.

But there is a section of Hindus who are either superstitious or turned fanatic to make this an organized religion like others. The British coin the word 'Hindu' and considered it as a religion.

He said: 'Religions have become an MLM (multi-level- marketing) industry that has been trying to expand the market share by conversion. The biggest business in today's world is Spirituality. Hinduism is no exception'

He said "I am a Hindu primarily because it professes Non-violence - 'Ahimsa Paramo Dharma' means - Non violence is the highest duty. I am a Hindu because it doesn't condition my mind with any faith system.

A man/woman who changes his/her birth religion to another religion is a fake and does not value his/her morals, culture and values in life.

Hinduism is the original rather a natural yet a logical and satisfying spiritual, personal and a scientific way of leaving a life..

LETTER OF THE EDITOR OF "THE TIMES OF INDIA"



TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA



Dear Mr. Prime minister,



I am a typical mouse from Mumbai. In the local train compartment which has
capacity of 100 persons, I travel with 500 more mice.  Mouse at least
squeaks, but we don't even do that.



Today I heard your speech, in which you said, 'NO BODY WOULD BE SPARED'.  I
would like to remind you that fourteen years have passed since serial bomb
blasts in Mumbai took place.  Dawood was the main conspirator.  Till today
he is not caught.  All our Bollywood actors, our builders, our Gutka king
keep meeting him, but your Government can not catch him. Reason is simple;
all your ministers are hand in glove with him. If any attempt is made to
catch him, everybody will be exposed. Your statement 'NOBODY WOULD BE
SPARED' is nothing but a cruel joke on these unfortunate people of India.

Enough is enough.   As such, after seeing terrorist attack carried out by
about a dozen young boys,  I realize that if same thing continues, days are
not far away when terrorists will attack by air, destroy our nuclear
reactors and there will be one more Hiroshima.

We the people are left with only one mantra. Womb to Bomb to Tomb.  You
promised Mumbaikar Shanghai; what you have given us is Jalianwala Baugh.

Today only your home minister resigned.  What took you so long to kick out
this joker? Only reason was that he was loyal to Gandhi family.   Loyalty to
Gandhi family is more important than blood of innocent people, isn't it?



I am born and brought up in Mumbai for last fifty eight years.  Believe me;
corruption in Maharashtra is worse than that in Bihar.  Look at all the
politicians, Sharad Pawar, Chagan Bhujbal, Narayan Rane, Bal Thackray,
Gopinath Munde, Vilasrao Deshmukh all are rolling in money.   Vilasrao
Deshmukh is one of the worst Chief ministers I have seen. His only business
is to increase the FSI every other day, make money and send it to Delhi, so
Congress can fight next election. Now the clown has found new way and will
increase FSI for fishermen, so they can build concrete houses right on sea
shore.  Next time terrorists can comfortably live in those houses, enjoy the
beauty of the sea and then attack our Mumbai at their will.



Recently, I had to purchase a house in Mumbai. I met about two dozen
builders. Everybody wanted about 30% in black. A common person like me knows
this and with all your intelligent agency & CBI, you and your finance
ministers are not aware of it. Where all the black money goes? To the
underworld isn't it? Our politicians take help of these goondas to vacate
people by force. I myself was victim of it. If you have time please come to
me, I will tell you everything.



If this has been a land of fools, idiots, then I would not have ever cared
to write to you this letter. Just see the tragedy.  On one side we are
reaching moon, people are so intelligent;  and on the other side, you
politicians have converted nectar into deadly poison. I am everything Hindu,
Muslim, Christian, Schedule caste, OBC, Muslim OBC, Christian Schedule
caste, and Creamy Schedule caste;   only what I am not is INDIAN.   You
politicians have raped every part of  Mother India by your policy of divide
and rule.



Take example of our Former President Abdul Kalam. Such an intelligent
person; such a fine human being. But you politician didn't even spare him
and instead choose a worthless lady who had corruption charges and
insignificant local politician of Jalgaon WHO'S NAME ENTIRE COUNTRY HAD NOT
HEARD BEFORE. It's simple logic your party just wanted a rubber stamp in the
name of president. Imagine SHE IS SUPREME COMMANDAR OF INDIA'S THREE DEFENCE
FORCES. what moral you will expect from our defense forces ? Your party
along with opposition joined hands, because politicians feel they are
supreme and there is no place for good person.



Dear Mr. Prime minister, you are one of the most intelligent persons, a most
learned person.   Just wake up, be a real SARDAR.   First and foremost,
expose all selfish politicians.   Ask Swiss banks to give names of all
Indian account holders. Give reins of CBI to independent agency.   Let them
find wolves among us. There will be political upheaval, but that will be
better than dance of death which we are witnessing every day.  Just give us
ambience where we can work honestly and without fear. Let there be rule of
law. Everything else will be taken care of.



Choice is yours Mr. Prime Minister.   Do you want to be lead by one person,
or you want to lead the nation of 100 Crore people?

'கண்ணைக் கட்டிக் கொள்ளாதே!' : தமிழனுக்கு ஒரு வேண்டுகோள்

ஃபிரான்ஸ் நாட்டு அரச நாற்காலியில் அமர்ந்த மாவீரன் நெப்போலியன் தன் மனைவி ஜோசபைனுக்கு வரைந்த காதல் கடிதத்தில், 'அன்பே, உன்னைக் காதலித்து உள்ளம் உருகாமல் ஒரு நாளைக்கூட நான் கழித்தது இல்லை. உன்னை நினைவுகளால் தழுவி மகிழாமல் ஓர் இரவைக்கூட நான் வீணாக்கியது இல்லை’ என்று குறிப்பிட்டான். நம் அரசியல்வாதிகளும் ஊழல் நடவடிக்கைகளில் ஈடுபடாமல் ஒரு நாளையும் கழித்தது இல்லை; பணப் பெட்டியின் ஸ்பரிசம் இல்லாமல் ஓர் இரவையும் வீணாக்குவது இல்லை.
எந்த மனிதனும் காதலிக்காமல் கண் மூடுவது இல்லை. பெண்ணைக் காதலிக்காதவன் கடவுளைக் காதலிக்கிறான். இருவரையுமே காதலிக்காதவன் ஒரு கட்சியின் தலைமையைக் காதலிக்கிறான். கட்சித் தலைமை அவனுடைய காதலில் நெகிழ்ந்து, பரிசாகக் கொடுத்த பதவியின் மேல், பின்னர் அவனுடைய காதல் கனிகிறது. கால நடையில் பதவியின் மூலம் வந்து சேரும் பணத்தின் மீது அவன்கொண்ட காதல், பல்கிப் பெருகி அவனைப் பைத்தியமாக்கிவிடுகிறது. லைலாவின் மீதுகொண்ட காதலால் பைத்தியம் பிடித்துப் பாலை நிலத்தில் அலைந்து திரிந்த சயசுக்கு, மான அவமானம் குறித்த பிரக்ஞைஅற்றுப் போனதுபோல், பணத்தின் மீது படிந்துவிட்ட வெறித்தனமான காதலால், நம் நாட்டு அரசியல்வாதிகளுக்கும் மான அவமானம் குறித்த பிரக்ஞை முற்றாக மரத்துப்போய்விட்டது. ஊழல்தான் அரசியல்வாதிகளின் அன்பிற்குரிய காதலி. ஊழலில் தவழ்ந்து, ஊழலில் திளைத்து, ஊழலில் வாழ்ந்து, ஊழலிலேயே ஐக்கியமாவதுதான் இன்றைய அரசியல்வாதியின் இலக்கணம்!
'ஊழல்தான் நம் நாட்டின் வளர்ச்சியைத் தடுக்கும் பெரு நோய்’ என்று பிரதமர் மன்மோகன் சிங் வாய் மலர்ந்து இருக்கிறார். அந்த நோயைத் தீர்க்க எந்த மருந்தும் அவரிடம் இல்லை என்பதுதான் நாடு செய்த பாவம். முள்ளை முள்ளால் எடுக்க வேண்டும். வைரத்தை வைரத்தால் அறுக்க வேண்டும். ஊழலை ஊழலால் ஒழிக்க வேண்டும். ஆட்சியாளர்களின் ஊழல் குறித்துச் சிந்திப்பதற்கே நேரம் இல்லாத ஞானச் சித்தர்களாகிவிட்டனர் நம் மக்கள். எய்ட்ஸ் நோயைவிட மிகவும் கொடியது ஊழல் நோய் என்று இவர்களுக்கு எப்படிப் புரியவைப்பது?
'ஊழல்... ஜனநாயகத்தின் உயிரைப் பறிக்கும்; நேர்மையான ஆட்சி முறையை நிர்மூலமாக்கும்’ என்ற உண்மையை எப்போது நாம் உணரப் போகிறோம்? அடித்த கொள்ளையில் எனக்கும் கொஞ்சம் கொடுத்தால் போதும் என்று நினைக்கும் நிலைக்கு நாம் இழிந்துவிட்டோமே!
ஆப்பிரிக்காவில் உள்ள பல நாடுகள் வறுமையில் வாடுவதற்கு முதற் காரணம், அங்கு உள்ள ஆட்சியாளர்களே. நைஜீரியாவில் மட்டும் மக்களின் வளம் சுரண்டப்பட்டு, 400 பில்லியன் டாலர் சுவிஸ் வங்கிகளில் முடக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது. உலகிலேயே அதிகமான கறுப்புப் பணத்தை வெளிநாட்டு வங்கிகளில் பதுக்கிவைத்திருக்கும் 'பெருமை’ நம் நாட்டுக்குத்தான் வாய்த்திருக்கிறது. 'வறுமையே வெளியேறு’ என்று வாய் கிழிய முழங்குபவர்களும், 'ஏழையின் சிரிப்பில் இறைவனைக் காண’ முயல்பவர்களும் சொந்த மண்ணில் சுரண்டிய பணத்தை அந்நிய மண்ணில் அடுக்கிவைத்துள்ளனர். உலகக் கறுப்புப் பணத்தில் இந்தியர்களின் பணம் 60 சதவிகிதமாம். 'பொன்னொளிர் பாரத நாடெங்கள் நாடே. போற்றுவோம் இதை எமக்கில்லை ஈடே’!
வெள்ளையர் நம் மண்ணை ஆண்டபோதே நம் அரசியல்வாதிகளில் சிலருக்கு ஊழல் தேவதையின் மீது காதல் கனிந்துவிட்டது. காங்கிரஸ் 1937-ல் தேர்தல் களத்தில் வெற்றிபெற்று ஆட்சியமைத்த மாகாணங்களில் ஊழல் உருப்பெற்றபோது மகாத்மா காந்தி, 'ஊழலின் முடை நாற்றம் பெருகுமானால், காங்கிரஸ் கட்சிக்கு நானே கல்லறை கட்டிவிடுவேன்’ என்றார். நாடு விடுதலை அடைந்த பின்பும், 1948 ஜனவரி 12-ம் நாள் நடந்த பிரார்த்தனைக் கூட்டத்தில் ஆந்திராவில் இருந்து பழம் பெரும் தியாகி வெங்கடப்பய்யா தனக்கு எழுதிய கடிதத்தைப் பகிரங்கமாகப் படித்தார் அண்ணல் காந்தி.
'மிகவும் சிக்கலான அரசியல், பொருளாதாரப் பிரச்னைகளுக்கு அடுத்து மிகப் பெரிய பிரச்னை காங்கிரஸ்காரர்கள் தார்மீகரீதியாகத் தாழ்ந்துபோய் இருப்பது தான். அரசியல் அதிகாரத்தின் ருசி அவர் களின் தலைக்கேறிவிட்டது. எம்.எல்.ஏ-க்கள், எம்.எல்.சி-க்கள் நடவடிக்கைகளும், மந்திரிகளின் பலவீனங்களும் மக்களிடையே கலக உணர்வை ஊட்டி வருகின்றன. வெள்ளைக்காரர்களின் அரசாங்கமே பரவாயில்லை என்று அவர்கள் பேசத் தொடங்கிவிட்டனர்’ என்று வெங்கடப்பய்யா அந்தக் கடிதத்தில் குறிப்பிட்டு இருந்தார். நேரு காலத்தில் உறக்கத்தில் இருந்து கண் விழித்த ஊழல், மன்மோகன் சிங் காலத்தில் ஊழித் தாண்டவம் புரிகிறது!
நேர்மைக்குப் பெயர் பெற்ற அதிகாரி கோர்வாலா என்பவரிடம் நிர்வாகத் திறன் அதிகரிப்பதற்கான பரிந்துரைகளை வழங்கும்படி நேருவின் அரசு வேண்டியது. கோர்வாலா சமர்ப்பித்த அறிக்கையில், 'நேருவின் அமைச்சரவையில் இடம் பெற்றவர்களில் சிலர் ஊழல் பேர்வழிகள் என்றும், ஊழல் அமைச்சர்களைப் பாதுகாக்க நேருவின் அரசு நியாயத்தின் வழி மீறிச் செல்வதாகவும் நெஞ்சுரத்துடன் குறிப்பிட்டார். ஊழலின் நிழல்படாத நேரு அன்று நட்புக்காகப் பழி சுமந்தார். ஊழலில் ஈடுபடாத மன்மோகன் சிங், சோனியா காந்தி தந்த பதவிக்காக இன்று தெரிந்தே பழி சுமக்கிறார்.
ஊழலும் உறவுகளுக்குக் காட்டிய சலுகைகளும்தான் ரோமப் பேரரசை வீழ்த்தியது; பிரெஞ்சுப் புரட்சிக்கு வழி வகுத்தது; ருஷ்யப் புரட்சிக்கு வித்தூன்றியது; சீனாவில் சியாங்காய் ஷேக்கின் ஆட்சிக்கு முடிவு கட்டியது என்ற வரலாற்று உண்மைகளை அறிந்துகொள்ளக்கூட நம் அரசியல்வாதிகளுக்கு நேரம் இல்லை.
'சிற்றின்பலோலர்களும், ஆடம்பரப் பிரியர்களும் நம் அரசியல் உலகை ஆக்கிரமித்துக்கொண்டனர்’ என்று சுந்தர ராமசாமி எழுதியது எவ்வளவு பெரிய உண்மை!
'மண்ணின்பம், பெண்ணின்பம், பொன்னின்பம் மூன்றும் எல்லையற்று அனுபவிக்க வேண்டும். அதற்கு அளவற்ற பணம் அவசியம். அதை எந்த வழியில் திரட்டினாலும் தவறு இல்லை. ஆளப்படுவோரின் உள்ளங்களில் முறை தவறிய ஆசைகளை வளர்த்துவிட்டால், ஆள்பவரின் ஊழல் அசிங்கங்களுக்கு எதிராக எந்தக் கிளர்ச்சியும் வளர்ச்சி பெறாது. ஊழல் நாயகர்கள்கூட 'தகத்தகாய கதிரவன்’களாக சமூக வீதிகளில் கொஞ்சமும் கூச்சமற்றுப் பேருலா வரலாம்’ என்று புறப்பட்டுவிட்ட யுக புருஷர்களின் முற்றுகையில், அரசியல் உலகம் சிறைபட்டுவிட்டது. அதிகார வர்க்கம் திருட்டுத் தேனைச் சுவைத்தபடி பல்லக்குத் தூக்கப் பழகிவிட்டது. பெரும் தொழிலதிபர்கள் நீரா ராடியா போன்ற சாதுர்ய சாகசப் பெண்மணிகள் மூலம் அரசின் முடிவுகளைத் தங்க ளுக்குச் சாதகமாக்கிக்கொள்ளும் கலையைக் கற்றுத் தேர்ந்துவிட்டனர். பாவம், பாரதப் புத்திரர்கள் மட்டும் கந்தல் ஆடையும், கிழிந்த பாயும், கஞ்சிக் கலயமும் மட்டும் சொத்தாகக் கொண்டு 'சுகித்துக்’கிடக்கின்றனர்.
'நாம் செய்கின்ற ஒவ்வொரு செயலையும் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான ஆண்களும், பெண்களும் கூர்ந்து கவனித்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்கள். எனவே, காரண காரியங்களோடு சமாதானம் கூற முடியாத காரியங்களை நாம் செய்யாமல் இருக்க வேண்டும்’ என்றார் காந்தி. அந்த ஆயிரம் ஆண்கள், பெண்களின் கண்களில் கறுப்புத் துணி கட்டும் துணிவை இந்த அக்கிரமக்காரர்களுக்கு யார் கொடுத்தது? உங்கள் கண்களை 'கறுப்புத் துணி’ மறைக்காமல் பார்த்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்!

இன்றைய தேவை - தனித் தமிழ்நாடு.

காரணங்கள்.                                                                                        



  1. இந்தியர் என்பதில் பெருமிதம் கொண்டோம். ஆனால் கர்நாடக அரசு உச்ச நீதி மன்ற உத்தரவை மதித்து இன்றுவரை தண்ணீர் தரவில்லை.
2. தமிழகத்திடம் இருந்து அன்றாட தேவைகளை பூர்த்தி செய்துகொள்ளும் கேரளா,  உச்ச நீதி மன்றம் உத்தரவிட்ட பிறகும் முல்லை பெரியாரு அணையின் கொள்ளலவை உயர்த்த சம்மதிக்க வில்லை.
3. ஆந்திரா நாங்கள் தண்ணீரை கடலில் கலக்க வேண்டுமானாலும் அனுமதிப்போம், தமிழகத்திற்கு தண்ணீர் தரமாட்டோம் என்கிறது. இவர்கள் பாலாற்றின் குறுக்கே அணைகட்டி பாலாற்றை பாலைவனக்க பாடுபடுகிறார்கள்.
4. அமெரிக்காவில் இந்திய மாணவர்கள் காலில் எலக்ட்ரானிக் பட்டை கட்டியதற்கு காட்டுக்கத்தல் கத்திய இந்திய அரசு, இலங்கை கடற்படையால் தமிழக மீனவன் சுடப்பட்டு இறந்தபோது கூட கடிதத்தோடு நிறுத்திக்கொண்டது.

மணிப்பூர் மரணித்துவிடும்! - ஓலமிடும் ஓஜஸ்!

 
'அடுத்த வேளை உணவுக்கு என்ன செய்வோம்?’ என்பதைவிட, 'அடுத்த நொடி
உயிருடன் இருப்போமா? மகள் கற்பு காக்கப்படுமா? மனைவி வீட்டில்தான் இருப்பாளா?’ என்ற தவிப்புகளை மணிப்பூரில் ஒவ்வொரு தகப்பனின் முகத்திலும், கணவனின் முகத்திலும் காணலாம்! பள்ளிக்கூடங்கள் இல்லை, பேருந்து நிலையங்கள் இல்லை, ரயில் நிலையங்கள் இல்லை என்று ஏகப்பட்டவை இல்லை என்றாலும் திரும்பிய பக்கமெல்லாம் இருக்கிறது ராணுவம்.  'இவர்கள் நம்மைப் பாதுகாப்​பதற்கு அல்ல... படுகொலை செய்யவே நிற்கிறார்கள்!’ என்றுதான் ஒவ்வொரு மணிப்பூர்வாசியும் நினைக்கிறார்கள். இவர்களுக்காகப் போராட்டக் களத்தில் குதித்த ஐரோம் ஷர்மிளா, 11-வது ஆண்டாக உண்ணாவிரதம் இருக்கிறார். அவருக்கு ஆதரவாகக் களத்தில் இறங்கிய மனோரமா, கற்பழித்துக் கொலை செய்யப்பட்டார்!
கண்ணீரில் மிதக்கும் மணிப்பூரின் சோகத்தை 45 நிமிட நாடகமாக்கி, நாடு முழுவதும் நடத்திவருகிறார் ஓஜஸ் புனே. கடந்த வாரம் சென்னைக்கு வந்திருந்தார். மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலம் புனேவைச்சேர்ந்த இவர், தனியரு மனுஷியாக நாடகம் போட்டு அரங்கத்தைக் கட்டிப் போடு​கிறார். நாடகம் முடித்த கையோடு கண்களில் கசியும் கண்ணீர்த் துளி​களை அடக்கியபடி கேள்விகளுக்கு பதிலளித்தார்.
''தனி ஒரு பெண்ணாக நாடு முழுவதும் பயணம் செய்து நாடகம் போடும் எண்ணம் தோன்றியது எப்படி?''

''மணிப்பூரில் என்னதான் நடக்கிறது?''
''மணிப்பூர் பல்வேறு ஆயுதப்படைகளின் கட்டுப்​பாட்டில் இருக்கிறது. 'நிலப்பரப்பைப் பாதுகாக்கிறோம்’ என்று உள்ளே நுழைந்த ராணுவம் அங்குள்ள பெண்களைத் தங்களது பாலியல் இச்சைகளுக்கு பயன்படுத்தி வருவது பல ஆண்டுகளாக நடக்கிறது. இதை எதிர்க்கும் பொதுமக்கள் கடுமையாகத் தாக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். மணிப்பூரில் நடப்பது முழுக்க முழுக்க ராணுவத்தின் ஆட்சிதான். பொது மக்கள் மீது அவர்கள் தாக்குதல் நடத்தக் கூடாது என்று சட்டமே இருக்கிறது. ஆனால், சட்டத்தை யார் மதிக்கிறார்கள்? எங்கள் பிரச்னையை நீங்கள் உணர மறுத்தால், எதிர்காலத்தில் உலக வரைபடத்தில் மணிப்பூர் மாநிலமே அழிந்து போய்விடும். இதுதான் யதார்த்தமான நிலைமை!
2004-ம் ஆண்டு மனோரமா கொலை செய்யப்பட்டார். அவர் தப்பிச் சென்றதால்​தான் சுட்டுக் கொன்றோம் என ராணுவம் கூறியது. தப்பித்து செல்கிறார் என்றால் பின்பக்கம் அல்லவா குண்டு பாய்ந்திருக்க வேண்டும்? ஆனால், துப்பாக்கி குண்டுகள் அவர் மார்பை அல்லவா துளைத்திருக்கிறது? மனோரமாவை பலாத்காரம் செய்து அதன் பிறகு சுட்டுக் கொன்றார்கள் என்பதுதான் உண்மை!
இந்த நிகழ்வால் கொதித்துப்போய் நிர்வாணப் போராட்டத்தை மணிப்பூர் பெண்கள் நடத்தினார்கள். ஒரு பெண்ணின் உச்சபட்ச தியாகமான உடலைக் கூட வீதியில் காட்டி நாங்கள் போராடினோம். அப்போதும் பெண்களை நோக்கி துப்பாக்கியை நீட்டினார்கள். வன்முறையைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துகிறோம் என்ற பெயரில் பொதுமக்கள் மீது சுட்டார்கள். இன்று மணிப்பூரில் நாளன்றுக்கு 2 பெண்கள் ராணுவத்தினரால் பலாத்காரம் செய்யப்பட்டு வருகிறார்கள். நான் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் இந்த நேரத்தில் யாராவது ஒரு பெண் தன்னுடைய கற்பை இழந்து கொண்டிருக்கலாம். ஆயுதப் படைகளின் அத்துமீறல்களில் இருந்து மணிப்பூரை விடுவிப்பதுதான் எங்களது ஒரு வரி முழக்கம்.''
''உங்களுடைய பிரசாரத்துக்கு வரவேற்பு எப்படி இருக்கிறது?''
''மனோரமா சுட்டுக் கொல்லப்பட்ட சம்பவம் மணிப்பூர் மக்கள் மத்தியில் பெரும் பாதிப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியது. அதை அடுத்த நாள், ஒரு ஆங்கில நாளிதழ் தனது ஐந்தாவது பக்கத்தில் சின்ன பாக்ஸ் செய்தியாகத்தான் வெளியிட்டது. ஆனால், எங்கள் பிரசாரம் அனைவர் மனதையும் மாற்றி வருகிறது. பெங்களூருவில் ஒரு கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் என்னுடைய நிகழ்ச்சியைப் பார்த்த பிறகு, 'நார்த் ஈஸ்ட் ஸ்பீச் அவுட் டாட் காம்’ என்ற இணையதளத்தை ஆரம்பித்து இருக்கிறார்கள். இதன் மூலம் எங்களுக்கு நிறைய உதவிகள் செய்ய முன்வந்திருக்கிறார்கள். காலப் போக்கில் இந்த ஆதரவு பெரும் புயலாக எழுந்து வரும். நீங்களும் என்னோடு கைகோப்பீர்களா?'' கேள்வி கேட்கிறார் ஓஜஸ் புனே!
